Welcome to the South Point High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC). As members of the NJROTC, we are dedicated to the Navy Core Values of HONOR, COURAGE, and COMMITMENT to build the foundation of trust and leadership upon which our NJROTC unit is based. These are the principles that give us strength and guide us in our daily activities; we will be faithful to these Core Values as our abiding duty and privilege.

Here at South Point High School, our NJROTC unit has a lot to offer.The NJROTC class offers a lot of useful life skills, trips, learning opportunities, and teams. The life skills that you or your child would gain from this class include public speaking, physical fitness, working with others, attention to detail, discipline, citizenship, and leadership skills.NJROTC goes on a lot of educational trips such as, UNCC, SCU, Coastal Carolina, Naval Academy, and more. The trips our unit have been on consists of, Virginia, Washington DC, New York City, Florida, Parris Island, Quantico, Fort Jackson, Myrtle Beach, Busch Gardens, and many more.Our units teams include Academics, Color Guard, Community Service, Drill, Drone, Marksmanship, Physical Fitness, Orienteering, and Sea Perch.
